toilet paper.

Picture
seriously, this one is a stumper.  truth is, some companies use gluten-containing glue to fasten the toilet paper onto the roll.  my advice on this, as much as it goes against my roots (dutch meets mennonite... not cultures known for wasting anything ;) i say just throw the roll away with a layer or two left.  sacrifice those few squares and keep yourself safe!  if not, it will be on your hands - which you'll hopefully wash right after doing your business, but between the toilet paper holder and the recycling bin ya never know what can happen.  just leave a square or two and negate the possibility.
*this is the same story for paper towel, so use this gameplan in your kitchen too!
