if there's a chance that you've ever cut bread on your cutting board, you'll want to get rid of it and get a new one. if not bread, go through the mental checklist of other gluten contaminators you might have put on there - anything with spices or sauces, etc. if you are sure that you're in the clear, keep your cutting board and move on! in the meantime, if today isn't the day that you're going out to buy a new cutting board, each time you use it you can cover it with a paper towel and do your best to keep it in one piece. i do this all the time when i'm travelling or at someone else's house, as ya just never know what has been on their cutting boards!
